If republicans blow this one, I'm done with them. Don't see anyone better, certainly not democrats, but if republicans can't win elections (and this one should be a cakewalk) then they are useless.

I know that Jan 6 is ‘Russia collusion’ 2.0 [trying to make something more than it is] but honestly how was trump actually going to start a coup with a bunch of gunless people and grandmas taking selfies and a Viking guy walking around the Senate chambers and then leaving?

Ok a proceeding was delayed for a hour or two if that was the plan because people were walking around inside; let in by Capitol police mind you. It wasn’t like they could delay it forever. So what!

Frankly, I'm stunned you still have this much hope in them. The Washington Republicans are clearly corrupt and rotten to the core. It would be foolish to think they are going to come to our rescue.

And nobody will challenge the "basic constitutional right" of abortion asserted here. Except the Supreme Court, which affirmed that those items not specifically designated under Federal control would be the jurisdiction of the States.

If the GOP can't defeat Biden it will be because it fails to get independents to vote for their candidate. Their focus should be on this.

My problem with term limits is that the one group that is more corrupt than politicians would be the senior bureaucrats that run all federal agencies--the true Deep State. They are not only corrupt but unaccountable, as they never have to stand for election. And we have seen what they can do in how they hamstrung Donald Trump. If you term limit congress, then you take away the one power base that could limit those bureaucrats.
