RE: Hey Biden - About Those Hispanic Voters....
There is a huge parallel here that is not obvious to the naked eye:

The hispanic community is very family oriented and loyal. Many families migrated here from Mexico and followed all the rules to be here. Now illegal immigrants are just walking in and in far too many cases being treated better than the people who followed the rules. This is pissing them off - bigly.

Where is the parallel you ask?

Student debt forgiveness. 100's of thousands have paid their loans off in full. Many over 10 or 20 or more years. Now the millenials and Gen Z may get most or all of their debt erased for basically nothing... And why - to buy some votes? They are going to piss off a lot more people who played by the rules than the votes they gain from this ploy (BTW with money the government doesn't have to begin with)

The population of elpaso is about 80% hispanic and considering how badly this senile old bumbler is ruining our country the people will still vote for him in 2024. Yep, that's how they run, Demoncrapped to the end. But, I would still be open to a poll here in elpaso to see if they have changed their minds. But...I doubt it.

sad, sad, sad

Well I never received thousands of dollars each tax year in the form of a credit just for having children. So if you are in that age range of still having children dependents do you believe my tax dollars should be sending you 3k up to no limit depending on the number of dependents you have under 18 each year?

It took just as much for me to raise my kids as those of you that are on this government gravy train. BTW that's $239 billion in 2020 and just a guess but probably 250+ billion in 2021. Some how the government found almost enough to give by to taxpayers with children....to pay off 10k in student debt

If you received this child tax credit, you sent it back? The government does except credits like that or you dont have to file for it.

We most likely dont have to stop at that for something the government is giving in a tax credit....

that I never received the benefit of

Dont confuse this as thinking I agree with forgiveness just pointing some people love it when they get government money and dont think of themselves as free loaders that someone else is making up that money

edit: just notice it went from 2k to 3600 in 2021 cost was more like $430,200,000,000 or about enough to pay off 17k in student loan debt

I am older but I believe there should be plenty of free college options. As far as I am concerned college now is about the equivalent of high school back when I was in school. All across Europe university is free. Any type of specializations or more than one major could cost, but as far as basic college courses, most community colleges should be free for everyone IMO.

University is free in a lot of Europe, but only a few get to go. They don't have this USA idea that everyone should go to university. They typically put a lot more emphasis on trade schools and vocational education, which we should also do. The person who attends a four-year degree program in Womyn's Studies would have been far better off going to trade school and learning how to do hair or fix a car or run a CAD/CAM terminal--and society would be better off, too.

You mean just like Trump over his 4 years, the worlds greatest generation was correct on most things and their kids or grand kids were wrong about what is best...

that generation made sure a student was introduced to some type of trade that could set them on track for their future with shop, auto, and Home Economics. It help me to decide what I wanted my future to be and I started a home improvement company as a Sr in high school. That turned into a home building and even if I retired from it at 52. That company is still doing business today 46 years later. Spent 2 days at WKU and I knew it was not for me because even back then 8 months in I was making as much daily as my teachers

Illegals starting in the mid 90s (in my area) just about took that dream away for a lot of people that had their dad grown up in the trades. Not that they were better or even harder works (some of the hardest worker I ever saw) but they would work cheap, longer hours, no overtime pay and on Saturday or Sunday. My goal in starting out was to do the best work possible not the cheapest, word was gold, and to pay top line for good help. Made less money for a lot of years but never went the illegal worker route.

Another thing I love about TN. Any kid straight out of high school can attend community college for two years tuition free.

That is because Education is a Business in the US and it is actually used for educating people in Europe
