On Monday, sports commentator Dan Patrick revealed on his show that he's learned of three teams that could join the ACC. One of the programs that Patrick's source identified was Florida State.

Next Monday: South Carolina to the SEC?

If you listen Dan Patricks source he qouted was speaking the day after the USC/UCLA announcement it starts at the 52 second mark. Since then we know that was instant speculation based on what Matt Hayes of Saturday Down South has recently reported from SEC ADs, SEC sources claim to want to end conference expansion after the addition of Texas and Oklahoma. An unnamed SEC athletic director told SDS that "We’re positioned at 16 (teams) for a robust future, the need just isn’t there.”
