Not true.

We had this discussion about a year or so ago somewhere else on here, and on TroyFans.com.

Troy AND Georgia State will be included because of existing license agreements, both of which fall under the same licensing umbrella that EA Sports is using for the game.

Our AD and our beat writer at the time covered the topic, and assured everyone that Troy would be included in the game for the reasons I just listed.

Besides, if this were true... then the same "issue" would have happened with Clemson, Notre Dame, USC, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Arizona State, Army, Air Force, Navy, and New Mexico since they also have different licensing agreements... and EA Sports definitely won't be leaving most of those schools out of the game.

The writer of the article didn't do all of his homework. He just looked up a list of schools that have direct agreements with CLC... didn't bother to see if there were sub-licensers with the same company.

Yeah I believe there was even an article where a current player is helping EA by taking thousands of photos of the stadium, etc. so they can update all our stuff. The whole thing was "He won't be in the game but he's part of the game" or something.
