That's what I meant. I'm not completely immersed in sunbelt yet.

Not sure why you believe "Definitely an upset with ULM beating Georgia State" when ULM won regular season series against Ga. State?
Sorry didn't follow yall. I only went by seed.

ULM lost a lot of games they could have won. They are better than their seed, but you gotta play what you’ve earned.

In the afternoon cap that has become a nightcap. App has gradually pulled away from Little Rock to take a 10-3 lead in the Bottom of the 8th inning........

And then....Lightning Delay!

It's been a tough season full of injuries for the Apps, but it was good to see us pickup a tourney win last night. When healthy we're a better team than the record indicates. It's hard to win against the #35 SOS with basically no healthy starting pitchers (2 weekend guys out for the year) and now missing our SS, 1B, and backup C.

Good news everyone, its still raining in Montgomery and supposed to all morning. If we managed to get all 4 games in, whichever poor soul has the nightcap is going to be there till midnight.

It's been raining off and on here in Texas for two days. I assume that has now moved east.

Looking at the radar and forecast, it doesn't look good today or tomorrow.

Does the league switch to single elimination if two days are washed out?

We need to get in two games today and two games tomorrow in order to avoid Single Elimination.

There appears to be a few hour window approaching where we might be able to get a game or two in. First round of rain is clearing out of Montgomery now.

Last year USM's first game in the C-USA Tournament started AFTER midnight.

RE: Sun Belt baseball tournament
Sun Belt coaches and AD's will meet this afternoon to discuss how to get all games in prior to 11pm CT Sunday, when the conference champ must be certified to the NCAA.

Options include turning this into a Single Elimination tournament, modifying the double elimination to make the Semifinals Single Elimination, and playing some games at a second site. (My guess is Troy or Alabama State would be that site)

RE: Sun Belt baseball tournament
Are Troy or Alabama St far enough away so the games will not be affected by the same weather?
