I thought his name was familiar, Garrett Soldano used to play for WMU-as a LBer, I recall.

I am just noting the fact he has WMU credentials, not advocating for or against his candidacy. Let's please not turn this into another political bruhaha-we have more than enough of those in this forum.

He was a team captain and All-MAC 1st Team in 2000.

Well, that didn't take long.

I always check to see where a candidate went to college. Kind of cool when its WMU. Its a big diverse university with room for a large spread of ideas. We have Carolyn Kilpatrick Garrett Soldano as proof of that.

What does Carolyn have in common with Garett, other than our alma mater? Did she cast doubt on our electoral system? Did she call the governor, or any governor, a Nazi?

Politics aside, it's great to see any WMU Alumni succeed. To have an alumni as a state governor would be a nice feather in WMU cap and would be a valuable ally down the road.
