Because the moon is closer than usual to the earth this should be a really dramatic one. Go out now and see how bright the full moon is and how much it lights up everything. Then watch how dramatically it changes as it peaks.

Its already 70% red now and there is still a full quarter of the moon shinning. Its was a 100% super fullmoon an hour ago.

90% eclipsed here in SE Texas. Not much Red mostly darkened out and I live away from city lights

First, Joel 2:30-31, “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.”

And second, Revelation 6:12, “I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.”

All in one we got the Jewish, Christian, and Astrologer points of view in his 2013 book predicting the end of times.

Because a blood moon on its own is a regular occurrence. They have happened since creation.

The famous blood moon tetrads of 2014-2015 were different because they all happened on the highest holy days in the OT law, which are Passover and Tabernacles. in 2014 and 2015 full blood moons happened on both Holy days over Israel which is incredibly rare. Passover signifies Christ dying on the cross for 1500 years before it happened and Tabernacles signifies His completed work after the 2nd coming.

The events described in Revelation suggest an covering of ash (or something) around the whole earth due to the events of the tribulation. They talk about the sun and moon BOTH being dark as cosmic disturbances happen.

Its just a guess but a major world wide earthquake followed by the skies going dark sound like a historic volcanic event of some kind. Or possible something hitting the earth, which is also described in Revelation. There are verses that suggest such cosmic disturbances that the earth will actually change its orbit and the 24 hour cycle will shrink to just 16 hours.
