Signs of a False Flag by Attorney Robert Barnes:

1. Asks you to respond emotionally rather than intellectually.
2. Strips the event of context, such as the contemporary factual setting, geopolitical reality, or historical awareness.
3. Demands a rush to judgment before a diligent, independent inquiry occurs.
4. Collectivizes judgment, by taking an individual event, and demands you blame an entire culture, religion, race, ancestry, community or country for it.
5. The only explicable motive offered for the offending action is irrational evil or utterly stupid immorality, as it is against the rational interest of the offender to commit the act for the reasons alleged.

This incident should be discussed, and discussed with full facts. Labeling the majority of this board as being complicit with, or reflective of the mentality of the demented murderer is a reprehensible remark if made in malice, and incomprehensible if made in jest.

There's no way to clean up this thread so I closed it. In an age where all chat rooms are monitored by security agencies where posts are tagged for buzz words and files are created on posters, making such accusations is also potentially damaging and not reflective of the spirit of this site.

I know of no poster here who condones murder, mass murder, or advocates for such (abortion issues and individual viewpoints on it excluded).

If we start another thread keep the wild accusations and generalizations about each other out of it! JR
