Permanently expelled. If caught again after being permanently expelled, then they get to spend a very long time in the US, locked up in a cell.
Until there's actual enforcement against US employers for hiring illegals, nothing much is ever going to change. The situation for them will ALWAYS be worse in their country...so they don't have much to lose as long as there are employers here to higher them.
Of course this will mean higher employee acquisition and payroll costs for US employers...which will of course mean higher prices.
Again, as Max noted above, until we have an actual immigration policy we're stuck in this mess no matter who the president it. Congress has passed several bills over the years, but there's never been any real desire to get any of them to the presidents desk.

I definitely agree with that as well. Employers who hire illegals should be fined so heavily that it basically destroys their business. That risk would stop a lot of businesses from taking the risk.

Will consumers accept higher cost goods/services? Let's take current inflation out of the equation.

Couple that with making them ineligible for welfare or any other government hand out and you will see the flow stop.

Turns out, these are bus loads of migrant workers from Venezuela who are mostly on their way to Florida. I suppose Ron DeSantis will meet them on the GA/FL line

While you do make some valid points, Democrats care not how they get here and do little to deter them. The current set of laws allow them into our country at will. Its illegal to deport them without due process and since most NEVER show up and heaven forbid ICE round them up then desperate times calls for desperate measures. Red states should bus all of them to the Northeast small states so they can get a clue that they are not immune to illegal immigration. New York, Delaware, Rhode Island, Maryland, New Hampshire, Massoftwosh!tts, Vermont, Maine, and Connecticut as well as out west sent them to California, Oregon, Washington, and lest I forget Minnesota. Stop letting these states off the hook and let them enjoy the fruits of the people they elect.
Keep sending them Gov Abbott. I'm sure with all the oil revenue coming in it will be small price to pay and Texan citizens will be wholeheartedly behind the move. In the literal sense.

…nothing but political theatre.
As usual your at the bus station when the ship came in. Illegals are offloading a bus as we speak.

Personally speaking I have no issue with paying more of it means keeping illegals out and keeping more jobs in the US. I'd be willing to pay up to 20-25% more for everything. In the long run our country would be a lot better off. I try to do what little I can buy buying American but that seems to get harder and harder every year.

Yes and their final destinations should be Blue States who condone this activity in large numbers. Its time they actually see other folks that are not white at their doorstep other than on television. It will also be nice to see how a slew of illegals who have no work visa or way to support themselves are welcomed by the locals. Time to take the diapers off those government free loading small blue states as well as Cali and NY.

haha, that always cracks me up when I hear it...
"We want 15 dollars an hour minimum wage! Living wage!"
"We need illegals for seasonal work or we will have to pay 2 dollars for an orange!"

I hope to see a convoy of busses loaded with illegals headed to DC. Let’s see how well that Depends wearing President can handle it. I’m sure it’ll go just like everything else he attempted. Total disaster awaits. I’m sure those 81 million voters will approve of having all of this gross ignorance at their doorstep. Sure hope these are not part of gangs but all peace loving folks.

Surely all the bleeding heart libs who depend on those federal paydays will happily house them.

The governor's office also blamed the Biden administration for putting migrant's physical health at risk by encouraging them to "make dangerous treks" and putting their lives in the hands of human smugglers.
"If you have come here illegally, you have been done a great disservice by the Biden Administration. They have encouraged you to make dangerous treks, oftentimes at great physical distress to you and your family. Sometimes, this has even meant putting your fate into the hands of dangerous coyotes and human traffickers."

I agree; however, I don't think it's really up to us at the end of the day. If employer one hires illegals and charges "$1" for its product and employer two doesn't hire illegals and charges "$5" for the exact same product, employer one is going out of business. Unless they all change, none will change. At least not on a scale to make a difference.
