RE: What is it with certain people on the right and Ukraine?
After the CIA color revolutionized another friendly country on Russias border
After the US funded radical, Anti Russian elements in Ukrainian society and allowed them to remain a part of the government and military structure
After 14,000 civilians died in a civil war in the east that the world largely closed their eyes to
After this non NATO country was loaded up with weapons and NATO advisors
After the strange dealings and corruption that involve US leaders and government at the highest level, all of the odd financing deals, money, power, positions etc
After biolabs that the US claimed to be “securing” and “closing”!since 2005 are found open and operating and cooking up who knows what aimed at killing Russians

After that, now the US and many Americans want to pretend Russia somehow started all of this and just invaded this innocent country out the clear blue sky, and for NO reason at all.

This, from the American side with its paw prints and money trails stamped all over every nearly conflict in the world over the last 30 years, who was behind a totally fake war that kills millions of innocent Iraqis, who had a long and well documented history of creating whatever fake evidence it needs to justify doing whatever it wants, with its globalist media empire repeating and amplifying everything they are told to say to sell it to the public and the world

The US public knows full well that their government and media repeatedly lie to them about major events, manufacture whatever evidence is needed to sell their ideas and are utterly ruthless and without morals in destroying anyone that stands in the way of their goals. Americans know they are manipulated in believing whatever they are being sold. They know it will eventually come out that it was all faked. But they still want to believe that THIS time it IS real. THIS time they are telling the truth.

The US side, which bounces from one conflict and war to the next, all over the world, demands Russia sit by and do nothing while the hostile forces sit on its border and opening plan against it.

Tell, me, if any of this was happening in Canada or Mexico and it was China doing the meddling, would the US not react?

No president of any country would sit by and watch all of these events happening on his border and not react in a similar fashion. None. And you all know it.

What specifically do you take issue with that was written there?

"information war against domestic critics and internal enemies"

"Propaganda campaign against the same target: The American public"

"Deceive, harass and punish working and middle-class Americans"

"if you aren't accused of serving Moscow, you are at least disloyal to the United States"

Thinking attacks on Tucker Carlson are part of this is to ignore the attempt to silence him that has been going on for years. It has nothing to do with Ukraine coverage.

Because we recognize how badly our alphabet agencies and prior presidential administrations have made a mess of everything they touch. We're sick of being the world's police force. We also recognize Ukraine is nearly as corrupt as Russia.

Apparently not. Cuba has been a nation on the border of the US deeply involved with Russia and China for half a century and we never sent in the US Army. When the USSR tried to set up nuclear missiles on our doorstep was the only time we made a miltary move---and even then we didnt invade.

Have we done anything with that since Reagan? Cuba and Venezuela make me wonder if that means anything to our presidents anymore. Russia has a pair of nuclear capable bombers stationed in Venezuela. China has been increasing active in that nation as well---and now Iran is making inroads there selling them anti-ship missiles. The Monroe Doctrine still largely exists---but it would appear that there needs to be very substantial real and imminent danger to trigger any real action from the US. Would Cuba being turned down in their efforts to join the Warsaw Pact have done it---not likley since there would have been no imminent danger.

I wish Russia hadn’t been pushed to this point, but this was a Western designed and created war 100%.

Every step the CIA, Deep State and Globalists have taken for the past 8 years have been one solid push to a major confrontation and provocation with Russia. And they’re doing it all in our name, with our money, but not for our benefit. And you all know it.

Agreed

Any rational American should not blindly trust corporate media ever again. We have a mentally and financially compromised puppet as our leader because the MSM, big tech, and other liberal interests decided it wanted Trump gone.

Opposition To Starting WWIII Doesn’t Make You Pro-Putin, It Just Means You’re Sane

Quote:While Florida Democrats have been running around the Sunshine State yelling “gay!” the rest of the Democrat Party has been busy yelling “Russia!” in the general direction of anything they don’t like. The 2016 election of Donald Trump? Must have been Russia! Hunter Biden’s damning laptop? Russia!

Now that Russian President Vladimir Putin has invaded Ukraine in an attack that’s killed or displaced thousands of civilian innocents, Democrats are even more eager to accuse anyone they dislike of being a Russian plant. So that’s what they’ve resorted to instead of thoughtfully engaging arguments for why going to war with a nuclear power might not be the brightest idea.

It’s an obvious statement that shouldn’t need saying, but the willful distortion of common sense by manipulative media means not enough people are hearing it: Wanting to avoid World War III doesn’t mean you’re a Putin-lover, it just means you’re sane.

Sane people with any knowledge of world affairs aren’t saying that Putin is a great guy, that bombing civilians is totally fine, or that we should all go cheer the red army.

What they are saying is that communist China currently presents a far greater threat to American dominance on the global scale than Russia does and that tying ourselves up in a prolonged conflict in Europe is a bad idea that gives China free reign.

They’re saying that war is a somber thing, not to be entered into lightly or upon the emotional urgings of video game clips and old photos that turn out to be fake.

They’re saying that negotiations are a good thing for Ukraine and that trying to drag out the war (and thus a Russian siege on Ukrainian cities) is likely to cause more devastation while making Russia stronger and Ukraine weaker.

They’re saying that a no-fly zone is going to mean shooting down Russian planes, having the Russians shoot back, and likely finding ourselves in a full-scale war.

They’re saying that perhaps we should pause and consider the potentially devastating consequences if we do let ourselves get pulled into a NATO-Russia war.

They’re saying that the United States is in a power competition with China and that we shouldn’t rush to send Russia over to China’s side to tip the balance; we should remember that the Soviet Union, unpleasant bedfellow as it was, was an arguably necessary ally to defeating Hitler’s Nazi regime in World War II, and we would be unwise to send such a potential scale-tipping country into the arms of a more threatening enemy.

They’re saying that, commendable as the courage of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is, Americans should think twice before mindlessly applauding his efforts to drag us into a world war.

These are all thoughtful concerns held by people who want to see American strength and American lives stewarded carefully and wisely. But instead of acknowledging those concerns or responding to their merits, the leftist media and their neoconservative allies prefer to accuse those who question the warmongering narrative of being Putin puppets.

“Russia and Far-Right Americans Find Common Ground With Ukraine War,” headlined a New York Times piece on Wednesday.

A February op-ed in the Times was even blunter: “How the American Right Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Russia.”

Meanwhile, “The View’s” Ana Navarro suggested the U.S. Department of Justice should investigate Fox News’ Tucker Carlson and former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for challenging the media groupthink.

It’s maliciously dishonest for the corporate media to characterize the right’s hesitation to tear guns-blazing into Ukraine as Putin worship — or to elevate and lend credence to the few fringe crackpots who actually are praising the Russian dictator, while pretending rational critics of war with Russia don’t exist.

A conglomerate of American institutions wants you to believe the only two camps of this fight are those working to drag the United States into another foreign war and those who love the Kremlin. As always, you should be asking yourself why.

How do we get out of this when Washington, the media, corporate America and much of the nation has clearly gone insane.

The Marxists are winning, and winning big.

Any remotely sane position or even daring to ask basic questions is now akin to nazism and its being screamed from all directions.

Were in the middle of an avalanche, I don't see how we stop it now.

A bunch of over the top hyperbole. Be specific—-what Americans are arguing for a war with Russia—-heck, which Americans are even advocating a US or NATO enforced no fly zone? The way to avoid this spilling out to NATO countries—-and make no mistake—-Putin intends to roll NATO back to its 1997 lines (not a secret by the way—-because he’s told us he intends to do so militarily—so maybe we should actually pay attention) is to see he never gets past Ukraine. If we really don’t want a direct conflict between nuclear powers then we need to make sure Putin never captures Ukraine. It’s really that simple. The idiots on tv trying to twist this into their normal Democrat vs Republican thing are just idiots. It’s not. As a people—-we used to understand that—-or at least we did in the Cold War.

Biden’s public statements and proclamations prior to the war were a disaster. He literally told Putin he had a free reign to enter Ukraine and that he need fear no US military intervention of any kind. Now—he was right to not get directly involved—-but he was an absolute idiot to make that known publicly. If he would have said all options are on the table if Russia invades—-that little bit of doubt that this could become much more than a walk in the park invasion like Crimea may have nudged Putin to the negotiating table rather than the battlefield.

Well said.
