Holy Hell that list of P5 scalps is impressive! Jesus Christ!

We are proud of them... however, many of them are quite dated... as many on here will be quick to point out... lol...
We hope to get back to where we can add a few for the Sun Belt.

Sorry, but anyone that feels the need to point out that some of those incredibly impressive wins are dated is just jealous as all hell and green with envy.

Just goes to show how much history and winning tradition that USM has.
I'm curious to know if USM has the most "current" P5 wins in its history than any other G5 program.

Also, I saw Friday games on the schedule. Where will those be televised? They wouldn't be on Friday if they weren't on linear TV, right?
You may have been led to believe that on the CUSA board over the years...
They act like we're the MAC and play everything on Tuesday/Wednesday... I can't tell you how many times I've read over there that "THE SBC HAS SOLD THEIR SOULS TO ESPN... THEY PLAY ALL THEIR GAMES ON WeEkDaYs... SAY GOODBYE TO SATURDAY FOOTBALL IN THE SUN BELCH.... THEY HAVE A CRAPPY TV DEAL.... SCREW ESPN..."
None of it was ever true. Just their way of making CUSA look like a great place to be to everyone over there. They needed something to latch on to... lots of denial went on that the SBC had surpassed them financially, reputationally, and athletically.
The midweek games should hopefully get spread out more evenly now that we have 4 more teams to add to the inventory. Give a few years for rivalries to build and we should have plenty of exciting matchups for ESPN to pull from.

Yes, a few of us did.
The only responses we'd get was "You're wrong! Go back to your board, Sun Belcher!" Followed by some negative rep points from one or two La Tech fans, just because.
Don't forget the adult male Charlotte fan who somehow still has time to speak in the third person.
I dunno, that guys seems like good folk to me. At some point you just have to respect the commitment to the bit.

One of the things that made me take notice of the SBC and start thinking we needed to look that way was three or four years ago, I was surfing for Saturday CFB games on the ESPN linear channels and a SBC game was on the 11:00 AM slot on ESPNU. I forgot who it was, but it was a "how did those guys manage that?" moment, so I started to pay attention, especially when I went to hunt the USM game on FB Live, Stadium, Gas Station Network, or whatever.

I find it highly ironic that many of the posters saying that, schools didn't have great numbers for their beloved Saturday games anyway. So why not get more national exposure sprinkled in? The SBC was one of 2 or 3 leagues who actually increased its attendance this past season, while most of the nation dropped. CUSA wasn't one of those 2 or 3...
