Bottom line, if any leader needs soldiers (not police, but combat soldiers) to protect him from his own people perhaps he's the problem and should consider stepping down for the good of the nation.

There is no need for the national guard in DC. It's all histrionics and photo-ops. Desantis is right to not force our guard to leave their families for such non-sense. Last time, the Dems made the guard sleep in parking garages. Several states called their troops back home because of the treatment they received.

When he was running and having "press conferences" he'd be lucky to get 12 people in the stands. What makes him think he'll get a whole slew of them now? Maybe because of the way he's running our country he's afraid of people protesting his actions and non-actions. He's certainly destroyed what Trump had in such a short time. Like Psucky, he sucks too.
