RE: "You will have consequences that you never have had before in your history.”
I agree with Trump on this. Putin knows we have a weak president in power. He's watched a foreign military buildup (NATO) in his backyard. If Russia had missiles pointed at us in Central America we'd be acting the same way. He's got them in Poland which might as well be Mexico for how close it is to Kaliningradskiy Oblast. They've forced his hand here and he's made his move. The monied interests WANT this to happen, and a lot of them reside right here in the US.

Everyone knows it, so quit deflecting from this crisis Biden* must address.
China will move on Taiwan next.

LET'S GO BRANDON!
I do agree with that completely. It’s Biden who has the history with Ukraine going back a good 10 ten years. He was VP and visiting Ukraine, when they immediately launched new offensives in the East. Same with John Brennen. After he visited, it was just a day before a new offensive was launched. While Trump was president, everything calmed down largely.

The democrats have become the new war focused neo cons. They are so unpopular, they look at when other presidents have had high polling numbers and are trying to duplicate that by having wars to join, but they are too afraid to join so they just start them and talk sanctions. It’s a joke.
RE: "You will have consequences that you never have had before in your history.”
Apparently, the Russians are making a bit of a hash of it. From navy-matters.blogspot.com, the following was posted:
"1. Didn't destroy Ukrainian air power - Ukrainian air force back in action within hours of initial strike.
2. Unable to progress from Russian border, having been blocked by Ukraine
3. Completely primitive tactics eg sending helicopters without fighter support or SEAD, thus resulting in many lost.
4. Poor coordination of forces -eg paratroopers inserted at Kiev airport without any support who were then wiped out"
Ever since the Berlin Wall fell, and we got a peek underneath the Red Army's skirts, there has been this notion that they were not really a well-trained or particularly effective force. These are very clearly rookie mistakes.
Russia will probably overpower Ukraine in the end, just on sheer numbers, and take whatever Putin wants. But this may very well be the Russian Army's last hurrah.
Sadly, if we put US troops in there to oppose the Russians, I'm not sure they would do any better. Our military might is being sacrificed on the altar of diversion, inclusion, and equity--DIE, which is what will happen to our forces in an actual war.

Is that what you want? A war between the US military against Russia and China with a few token French and British helping? Only way we win that without a draft, a massive ground war, and millions of American deaths is going nuclear... and these are massive land masses so 2 nukes won't cut it like it did in Japan. So we simultaneously launch about 20 or so nukes across Eurasia and China and kill a couple billion people and pray the intel is perfect enough to destroy their capability to get one of their own off heading into US soil? But hey, you got your vaccine and wear your mask so you care about people.

Liberal naivete is your biggest downfall. Clinton, then Obama and now Biden have screwed this up. Chamberlain just about got England speaking German. You guys just don't get it. Trump has been proven right over and over regarding foreign policy matters and all y'all do is throw tantrums because he has the nerve you and some conservatives out on your stupidity.

"This is genius," he said of Putin's decision on Monday to officially recognize the breakaway provinces and authorize the use of Russian military personnel to assist them. "So Putin is now saying it’s independent — a large section of Ukraine. I said, how smart is that? And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re gonna keep peace, all right."
You do know that Trump is no longer POTUS, right? Stop running interference for a demented old man, it makes you look silly.

Common sense still eludes you I see. Biden's projection of weakness is why Putin has been emboldened to act without restraint. If you don't see it that's either because you don't want to because it knocks down your narrative or you're just plain stupid.

This. Putin put Russia in a no loss situation. The only real sanction that will be effective is stopping Russia's flow of crude and NATO does not have the balls to do that.
