The Mean Green come into The Bart with an overall record of 19-4 and 12-1 in C-USA. They have won their last 11 straight games, and 17 of their last 18.

They squeaked out a victory at FAU last night, 54-51. UAB beat North Texas at Denton back on January 6th, 69-63.

Only one team has scored in the 70s all season against North Texas, when Kansas won 71-59. North Texas is one of the most deliberate-playing teams in the country. Their average time of each possession is 21.2 seconds. That is dead last (358th). They are second to last in adjusted tempo with 59.5 possessions per game. Only Virginia averages fewer possessions.

Rice only scored 43 points against UNT in their first meeting, and only 44 points in the second game. UNT won both games by an average of 27.5 points.

UNT leads the conference in defense and UAB leads in offense. UAB has the best free throw percentage in conference games at 78.9%. UNT is last with 62.2%. North Texas leads the league in defending the 3-ball and is second in defending 2-point shots. They also lead the conference in percentage of offensive rebounds and the rate of free throws. They are second in 3-point percentage at 41.4%

North Texas’ best wins were at Wichita State, 62-52, and beating Drake 57-54 at a neutral site. Those are their only top 100 KenPom victories. Their worst loss was the second game of the season when they lost at home to Buffalo, 69-66. Their other losses were to Kansas, Miami, and of course UAB. They are 7-0 on the road, losing 2 home games and 2 neutral site games.

After tomorrow’s game at The Bart, the UTEP and LA Tech games are the most difficult on both North Texas and UAB’s schedules.

I have a feeling that LaT return game will be ugly. As said above we need to bring A game tomorrow along w/ other games left as we've left ourselves little room for error w/ our losses.

At least La Tech losing yesterday gives us some cushion as far as the bye goes for the Conference tournament.

I mean, looking at how the bracket is set up for the conference tourney, finishing second in the west wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world…

Hi hope everyone on here, that can, shows up today. It's a big game that we need to show up for and be loud.

I've been checking the clock every 5 minutes or so for the past hour hoping it would somehow be close enough to game time to head that way.

Just judging by how many people are here 45 minutes before tip off, looks like it will be a good crowd.
