EZU banner incident
Slattery
JJB
VCU games when their crew would come up and chill with us pregame
The news segment game where our esteemed colleagues came to Myric beforehand
Senior Nights for each retired player, Tae hitting a 3 and just having a night
Watching Burke play D in the coach's box
The first game for each my daughter and son
Each game this year as this team builds on a special season and the students are hitting their stride

Didn't we have two student-led groups back then? I don't remember their names, but one wore yellow and the other wore teal.

That's great!

This new crowd of students might get a lot more inventive and rowdy than we know. It seems that it takes even less to "trigger" snowflakey types these days. Do some research, find a few 'sensitive' players on opposing teams, and it would take even less to get them running to find a "grief counselor" or a "safe space".

But be careful: The same things that might 'trigger' opposing players could be likely to 'trigger' some of our own University administrators.

Yes, the Screamers and the Hecklers, the former trailed us by a few years and were university affiliated and therefore non-boorish. We were not.

I was there. Behind the Navy bench. Had a sinking feeling that the Admiral was going to get the final shot and it was going to go in. He did and it did. :( AMAZING game, though!

Blizzard thanked the Hecklers in his senior night speech

Best Moments at Trask
I understand Coach Wainwright saw some Hecklers at a pizza place at supper time one evening & picked up their tab.
They also brought torn up napkins to toss in the air when Blizzard would hit a three-pointer.
They were a good bunch who realized that to be good it took "Practice - Practice - Practice"!

RE: Best Moments at Trask
Last night was indeed one of the all time great nights at Trask...I know it was against a lame duck but still dangerous James Madison squad, but with it being senior night and the buzz of Cacoks jersey retirement there was definitely a special feeling in the place. Couple that with the intensity of the game, the fracas in the second half and the comeback from 9 down with a few minutes left to win in OT sending the raucous students spilling onto the floor and it definitely ranks up there on my list.

Agreed! At least the most drama I've seen at Trask!

It was a roller coaster that’s for sure. I recognize the drama that was the game and the fights etc. I refuse to call it a “good game” because the quality of play, at least for us was largely garbage. I think Crazy is probably the best descriptive word. Definitely the craziest game I’ve seen at Trask. Alas, a much we still snuck away with a much needed win

Best Moments at Trask
It wasn't in Trask but in Hanover Hall that I witnessed the craziest game. We were hosting a tournament of NAIA teams. Elizabeth City State was playing & was leading (I forget the opponent but it was not us) by 5 or 6 points at half time. The officiating was horrible. The ECSU coach went after (verbally) a ref going into half time. The ref came over to the scorers table and told the score keeper that the second half would start with two technicals on the ECSU coach. After half time the other team shot the technicals & ECSU was still up by 2 or 3. The ref went to the bench & told the coach he had to leave that because of the technicals he was ejected. His players begged him to leave - he refused. The ref went to the scorers table & said, "Ball game!" A forfeit.

Only home game I’ve been able to get down for. Annual trip with a group of guys. I hear what you’re saying. As happy as I am for the players to pull that one out we didn’t look good and the game took way too long. But man I am so glad they pulled that W off for those fans. Place was rocking and that student section deserved it.
