Tulane shot the hell out of the ball in the first half against a defense that seemed clueless. Bearcats defended with the urgency they need to always have in the second half, but it's hard to complete s comeback when you can't shoot. Pretty sure uc missed its last 9 free throws (never mind the 5 for 25 from 3). When you can't shoot at all you can't have a half where you don't bother playing defense.

Brutal stuff.

Miller will get a pass this year as he had quite the mess to clean up.

Not quite sure what is going on as they seemed to have had it together in the games against Illinois and Arkansas.

Good conference win for Tulane.

Tulane rose 51 places from 192 to 141 in the NET rankings after that win.

im glad Tulsane is going to ruin the league and make it a one bid league

I will do it till we do something that looks like the crap team of old… beating Cincinnati and Memphis is significant … and as you can see people take notice …as disappointed as I have been with the early close losses.. something is happening … these guys are talented and are playing like a team … hope I have to keep posting victories .. :)..

My first comment was Tulane shot the hell out of the ball. That isn't necessarily Cincinnati beating itself. UC played horrible defense in the first half, but even playing defense that badly you don't expect anyone to shoot like that. Tulane was great.

Second half UC played great defense, but Cincinnati is a terrible shooting team and couldn't make enough shots to give them a change. That's not saying "Cincinnati beat itself". Cincinnati shot like you'd expect them to shoot...badly. Tulane usually plays a fairly aggressive 2-3, extending out to try to force turnovers....they smartly were much more compact yesterday, trying to wall off the lane and trusting a bad shooting team to miss shots.

You guys are the best...can't even make observations about a game without your nonsense.
