Houston played without 4 players vs texas state who was top 130 in kenpom and still won by 40... tulane is 153 in kenpom

played only 5 players in the Louisiana game (2 players played garbage time after we got up big) louisana is 184 kenpom, still won by 15

we been without a ton of players most of the season

Please be assured you can never know that level of misery.

Unless some team sweeps the regular season and tournament titles like SMU has done twice in the past, I think this league has enough respect that the regular season and tournament champions both get in to the NCAA tournament. Anything beyond that is looking doubtful at this point though.

True. If that happens, it would be the third year in a row that the conference would have only 2 teams in the NCAA. At this point, bracketmatrix.com predicts that Houston will be a 3 seed and Memphis will be an 11 seed. UCF gets a handful of mentions as a possible 11 seed. So far, the situation for the AAC looks very similar to what it was a year ago.

The Big East and WCC are in a much better situation, with four teams apiece in kenpom's top 32. The MWC looks like a 2 or possibly 3-bid conference.

Though it's no consolation to us, the A-10 and Missouri Valley appear to be at even greater risk than the AAC is at of being potential 1-bid conferences.

The one positive is that future AAC school UAB is still at the top of the pack in the CUSA, and could earn a NCAA bid.

Michigan may be the most talented team on UCF's schedule but they've underwhelmed quite a bit during the first two months of the season.

The Wolverines are 3-point favorites at the moment.

UCF pulls away from Michigan and wins by 14!! What a second half!!

Not sure how good of a win that will end up being but UCF played great tonight.

Glad all those Michigan fans that made the trip on their way to the playoff left disappointed.

We didn't miss a single 3 in the second half. Insane. Now we just take care of business in conference and Big Dance boys!

Green Jr finished with 27 (7-9 from 3) and Mahan finished with 26 (5-7 from 3).
