RE: I hope cincinnati beats alabama...
If Cincy does beat Alabama, another G5 school will never make it into the playoff again.
Every P5 program will be forced to drop and not schedule G5 teams, so they can't claim "strength of schedule" to get in.

Sadly, I don't think that's true.
One of the College Gameday videos from Army-Navy that I DIDN'T post was Herbie asking Lee Corso about his bet-won bathrobe and his times at Navy. THAT two minutes was great, but the video concluded with 30-60 seconds where Herbie asked about Cincinnati, and Corso definitively stated that Cincinnati should never have been included, that the other five conferences just don't belong.
We could chalk that vehement statement up to Corso's deteriorating condition, but instead I think that it indicates that a significant portion of the college football world has a LOT invested in the continuation of the caste system. Pundits and talking heads certainly, but I bet there will be a lot of Vanderbilt, Missouri, Kansas, Rutgers, Oregon State, Boston College, Duke, etc, etc fans hoping that Cincinnati gets blown out.
I will do my little part with my limited reach, but I would love to see the narrative in the next two-and-a-half weeks be about prior blowouts of "P5" teams in the CFP:
ACC FSU lost by 39 to Oregon, 2015
Big10 Michigan State lost by 38 to Alabama, 2015
Big12 Oklahoma lost by 35 to LSU, 2019
Big10 Ohio State lost by 31 to Clemson, 2016
SEC Alabama lost by 28 to Clemson, 2018
Notre Dame lost by 27 to Clemson, 2018
PAC12 Oregon lost by 22 to Ohio State, 2014
FIVE of the seven years of the CFP have seen blowouts of "P5" participants by greater than three touchdowns. We will hear roughly ZERO about that in any of the commentary leading up to the Cincinnati-Alabama matchup. If, God forbid, Cincinnati loses by 17 or 21, those seven blowouts will get even less mention.
One exception - there may be some small segment against "playoff" expansion at all (although, why, if their money will double or treble?) who might add those losses to an anti-Cincinnati narrative. But that will be small, and it will still be firmly for the "haves" and against the "have-nots".
Get out there and preach, my brothers and sisters, get out and preach.
ESPN are huge shills, their opinion of it all means nothing to me

There’s something about this year, this team…Cincy will win. I feel it in my gut. I feel like I’m nuts for saying this everywhere, but then I don’t.
