Most of the South and Central states doesn’t and this might be one of the reasons why Biden administration went this route

OSHA in general is a joke today. It is under staffed and actually does very little but investigate work place deaths. It is so far behind in inspections that you really have to be unlucky to ever be visited by them. Ive worked at the same mill for 39 years and we have never been visited. If they did I expect we would be shut down due to the number of possible violations. Yet...We have never had a fatality and only a couple of accidents that required more than a few stitches.. Imagine that...being safe... without OSHA having anything to do with it.

I've worked in the telecom industry for going on 44 years, from construction to management and several points in between, and I have never seen an OSHA employee, at least not one who made their presence known.
