I agree 100%, but those establishment R’s and D’s have the system rigged so heavily in their favor I have a hard time believing they will be thrown out short of a gun in their collective faces……….and they won’t willingly give up power without a huge push for a totalitarian state.

This may come to pass, but I hope not. I hope that the public outrage serves a few purposes:

1. Force election reform & integrity laws
2. Engagement in election oversight
3. Force politicians to listen to their constituents
4. Voters monitor our representatives to keep them in check
   

Tall order, I know. But very doable.

The general public is far too lazy to install proper oversight. Too many people do not follow closely enough and only look briefly when it is time to pull the lever every other November.

As for 1 & 2: Neither of these will every be truly implemented because the people who can actually mandate these are the people who have the most to lose if they actually do it - Good luck with that.

The only real way to stop this insanity is term limits:

2 for Pres...
2 for Senate...
3 for Congress...

of course this won't happen either for the same reasons.
