They are both craptastic non starters. Id rather add Belmont and give them 5-7 years to add football. UTC plays in a 20K stadium and barely avg 8K. And ETSU plays in a newish stadium that seats aprox 7,700 and avgs 5300.

The only thing ETSU has over the other two, is ETSU is an R2. Both UTC and Belmont belong in the new R3 classification.

Don't really care about their research status. ECU is a research institution yet App State, for all intents and purposes, is a better university with a higher quality education.

Research mission does not equal quality of education and I'm tired of seeing the two conflated.

We should move all of our post-season games and tournaments to Nashville just to make them mad since it’s “their” market.
