Your confused. Where you are talking about is the bottom of the rainbow. Taiwan is somewhere close to China and that is why China thinks it is theirs. Germany's Hitler had the same idea about the Sudetenland because it was close to Germany.

It's all just an ego trip on China's part. I really don't see what an asset Taiwan could be. What they are is because of its leadership. You know like what Israel has done to its desert. Doesn't China have enough problems with its own people and how to get them fed and all. Look at Hong Kong, even though China did a Sudetenland move and took over the country reneging on its deal with GB the people aren't afraid of protesting, now that takes guts, the Chinese aren't afraid of using torture and to heck with the international backlash.
