I own a battery powered EGO chainsaw and it's pretty awesome actually. Plug in models are pretty weak from what I've experienced.

I have a Kobalt 80 volt from Lowes that I use quite a bit trimming and cutting for hunting season. Great battery life and takes down sizable trees...maybe overkill for stuffed animals though.

Been trying for months to get a Kobalt chainsaw. All but given up.

I have a battery powered DeWalt that runs on a battery I charge with a 100W solar panel on my storage building. Works great and the battery is swapped out for a few pieces of yard equipment. Never going back to having to deal with starting and all the power needed.
