Y'all cost this conference (and us) quite a bit of $$$ and potential exposure with that move...

No one involved with that decision is currently an employee of the University of Southern Mississippi.

Still salty over that cancellation. I like it! Us Arkansas State fans will forever hate Miami because of their cowardly cancellation too.

USM fans weren't happy about the decision either. It was a game we wanted to be played. The HC and AD (Hopson and Gilbert) dodged a good chance at a loss just after being surprised by ULM. As another poster said, they gone.

For the record the decision maker on that is now the AD at ECU

I was wondering why some of the App faithful on the Yosef board were so adamanetly against USM and now....it all makes sense.

I had completely forgotten about Eagles admin cancelling this game

You ain't kidding.

Gilbert is probably the person most responsible for the perception that we're being run into the ground.

Please explain how we cost the SBC money and exposure in more detail.

I think he was just saying you cost App money, probably because they had to refund all tickets, and exposure - because it was a televised game.
