Just watched the Vandy game from last week... CSU was up early and looked dang formidable. Eventually their Oline wore down from Vandys pressure and the pocket collapsed regularly. They have a big mobile QB who made some plays with his legs that could give us problems. Similar to Buchner last week.

An overarching theme was they are SLOW and a heady team. Very hot and cold. Lots of dumb penalties (reminds me of someone). McBride their TE could give us fits but damn is he SLOW. Their Kicker could be the worst kicker I have ever seen at the FBS level. Squirting balls no where near the goal posts. Im glad we have Clucky! Stewart a LB for CSU is out for the first half because of targeting late in the game.

I say we have a game for a quarter 14's on the board in the 2nd. Then we go up and never look back. 52-21 TOL.

Going to disagree with you on a couple of things. One, McBride isn't slow. There is a reason Todd McShay has him going in the 1st round and as his top TE. He doesn't have a QB who can throw it to him.

Toddy, our QB, isn't that big, just looked bigger because Vandy isn't big, and they suck. But QB1 sucks more. Seriously the worst starting QB I have seen for CSU since in the last 30 years. Once Vandy keyed on the run and dared him to pass, they stopped us.

Kicker is by far the worst I have ever seen. He is 8-17 on his career, 1-4 this year. I think you could bring in a drunk college kid and he could hit 2 of them.

As a bonus though, our HC isn't good either. Just a bro being a dude. Look up Addazzio, BC, guys being dudes. He is a joke

CSU TE Trey McBride is No. 1 nationally among TEs in both receiving yards and receptions. Focus has to be on locking him down. Also key in on the mobile QB as UToledoFans mentions.

I could see us trying to air it out quite often against the Rams. Which one of our WRs steps up in a big way this week? Maddox did vs. Notre Dame. I'm waiting for a Bryce Mitchell highlight game.

I rewatched the highlights... He stumbled for 15 yards on one catch, and idk... Maybe his size makes him look like he isnt moving. The game in general looked like yall were playing in tall grass. He's slower than Michael Mayer for ND. He will be the top TE in a couple years. But maybe not a fair comparison. Either way hes the guy to key on.

Penalty on the 1st play. Yeesh.

No idea what Harris was doing on that play. Terrible start for the Rockets.

Yeah I’m not sure what you do on offense when there are 6 guys in the backfield by the time the RB gets the handoff. Not even finn has time to escape when he’s in either.

Bad quarter. Koback barely touched the ball, don't get that. Not that it would have made much difference with the way the o line is playing.

Has a team ever gotten a new offensive line coach in the middle of a game before? Might be something to consider.
