Vannini threw a lot of cold water on this today. If App leaves it’s only for AAC, and there won’t be geographi realignment due to lack of SBC support

Vannini's article was a good opinion piece. We still dont know what the deciders are thinking.

I find it interesting that generally, people who call I-AA/FCS championships pee wee are people who are fans of programs who have literally won nothing.

I like Ga State just fine but its easy to see that someone who is a fan of a program that was built brick by brick from the bottom up has little respect for a program that finds their value solely in the zip code in which they reside.

The program really has improved from where it was but (my opinion) we still haven't really had a 'breakout' moment

But you have other important metrics checked off like facility upgrades. The AAC would like a plug and play sure but stAte has shown they care. Even TXST has a shot just because we have one of the nicer football facilities in the G5. I bet two of the biggest factors are financial commitment, facilities, and of course success.
