Well, after checking, this is a hoax, but still a funny one. If we didn't live in such strange times it would have been better suited to 4/1/2022. Now the real news is more bizarre than any April Fools.

Omg… I remember that. Those uniforms were hideous. They tried to say they were forward thinking designs, the future. …Nah. They were a train wreck.

Great basketball team though. Corchiani and Monroe in the back court. Those were the best years of college basketball IMO (1980s-1990s). My cousin went to NC State at the time and he invited me to see the UNLV game. I can’t remember if it was 1989 or 1990, but UNLV was amazing. Monroe was unstoppable that game and scored like 37 points, but they still lost the game by a dozen or more. UNLV was just too talented.

EDIT --- but now that i think about it, I think those uni's were in 2012. And we lost in the semi's to U-uh-Kay.

In 2013, we had the "girl jersey look" with sleeves ... THOSE are the uni's we never lost in.
