I wonder how long before Allegiant Stadium host the NCAA Final Four & CFP Title Game...that stadium and SoFi Stadium.

Allegiant Stadium will host the next time RFPs are made.

SoFi gets the January 2023 CFP title game. Since SoFi is a canopy, rather than a fixed roof, there will be addition costs to tarp/curtain the place like was done in Arlington with ATT Stadium and Minneapolis with US Bank Stadium.

2027 is the first available Final Four year.

If Las Vegas was going to continue to bill itself as the "Entertainment Capital of the World," it needed an NFL team and it needed Allegiant Stadium. It is just a matter of time before they get a Super Bowl in Las Vegas. Inglewood with SoFi Stadium is going to be a huge entertainment center. Once the Clipper arena is done in 2024, there will be four entertainment venues within a mile of each other. The Forum, which seats 17,505 is across the street from Sofi Stadium. SoFi has an indoor performance venue, called the YouTube Theater, that can seat 6,000. The new Clipper arena will be right next to the SoFi Stadium and will seat about 18,000.

With Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football Championship Game in 2023, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games in 2028, I am not sure that SoFi Stadium is going to be a candidate for a Final Four. They are probaly a decade away from that happening, if it ever does. While I agree that Las Vegas is becoming a place to watch Pro and College sports, Los Angeles is the new Mecca for Pro and College sports.

Vegas is close to that with MGM, Mandalay Bay, Thomas and Mack, T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant. Not to mention all of the hotel concert venues and the under construction MSG Sphere.

ND and BYU are in talks about scheduling a game there in 2022.

On other thing is they are likely moving the NFL Combine to SoFi as well...yes the Combine is becoming a TV Event
