CBB schedule question
In a normal season, do most conferences play double (h/h) round robin? Are there any bigger conferences that can't?

Conferences with more than 12 members can’t play double round robin.

There are also a few, like the WCC, that are smaller but choose not to.

I think 20 conference games are the most I've seen. That means 11 teams would be the max.

RE: CBB schedule question
The schedule begins in mid-March, anything prior is just pointless. The big conferences play for 3+ months to determine conference tournament seeding (eye roll) and the smaller conferences waste their time waiting to see which team wins their conference tourney and solo bid.

And in college football about seven teams fight for four playoff spots

All seven teams will get a playoff spot when the new 12 team format goes into existence then. 04-jawdrop 02-13-banana 02-13-banana 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 05-stirthepot 05-stirthepot COGS COGS 04-cheers
