Tulsa has an above average defense, but their offense blows. If we can keep our offense on the field and wear their defense down, I look for this to be a repeat of the SMU, Memphis and Army games

Close for about a half. We run away from them in the second half.

31-13

Then...

Ohio St. loses to Northwestern, A&M loses to Tennessee, Florida loses to bama, Iowa St. loses to Oklahoma and the CFP ends up being Alabama, Clemson, ND and... Oklahoma.

Watch it happen.

We haven't gone up against a good D (maybe Army) yet this year. This game will be won or lost on the offensive side of the ball. Interested to see how Ridder does against them. D needs to look to score/turn them over.

Bolded, I agree. From the few minutes I've watched from a couple of Tulsa's games this year their offense would often appear inept and vulnerable. Then events would happen as if they were the team in "Angels in the Outfield" and the unexpected losses turned to victories. Let's hope they've used up all that magic already. But I actually expect a close game.

Weather looks a bit shaky. Cold and potentially rainy. I think UC wins, but it may not be a blowout.

Gonna be cold. Just hoping it isn't too wet. Got parking in CCM so I can stay warm in the car until closer to game time. Plus I never get to park there for football since I'm not a big donor so I'll be rolling with the fat cats at least for a night.

Anybody know what if any concessions will be open? I would guess with a small crowd it will be limited or nothing.
If nothing will be open can we bring in our own?

Others have said beer will definitely be sold. No clue how many stands etc.

Somebody also said when they attended as a friends and family member this year they were allowed to bring in their own food.

It’s the kind of weather where you have to worry about fumbles. I’m not a big believer in Des’s passing skills , so my guess is UC runs the ball all night, taking time off the clock and relying on the Blackcat defense and our punting game for field position. We win 21-10.

Yeah I tense up when I see des passing lol. Old habit I guess. What I find interesting tho is that we've been pass heavy (sometimes no runs at all) on our opening drives here lately. I'm guessing this is to soften up the d for the run game, but it's actually been really effective

If anyone comes across game day information, please share. I haven't seen anything yet on what to expect.

The weather right now calls for a shower during the day, but by 8 pm should be clear. Low 36. It will be warmer than the past week.

The desktop and mobile backgrounds on that link are pretty sweet. And yes, I'm on Cricket... I'm a cheapskate.

Looks like they have revised it for a chance of a small showe around 7 and 9. Still looks to be light. At least warmer. Just need a couple additional beers and my poncho.

Hopefully they'll be as lax as always checking for alcohol on your person.

Nothing refreshes like an ice cold beer outdoors... when seated on cold steel bleachers in 34 degree temperatures and raining! Here's hoping they are well stocked with hot coffee.04-cheers

Sooo did they remove the game from stubhub? I just was curious and wanted to check secondary market ticket prices. The game was on stubhub earlier this week but I can't find it anymore.

Edit: Doesn't UC have a partnership with stubhub? I wonder if they asked stubhub to remove all listings for the game b/c of Covid. They don't want groups of tickets being split up between two different parties.

I just tried to get a couple of tickets and there are some available, but you need to purchase at least four together. I called the ticket office and they verified that's all that is left - looks like around 180 tickets or so left.

I thought TicketCity was their official secondary ticket broker.

I wonder how loud 5,800 fans can be for this game. I'm sure it will sound fine on TV. Hopefully there's enough juice to give our guys an energy/morale boost.

1980's UC football would be thrilled to have 5800 fans in the stadium...
