CMU trick play
I was looking at some Ball State highlights to see what we're in for on Saturday and came across this.

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

Great job guys!

Had Pimpleton not fumbled it, it still didn't look like the coverage team was fooled at all.

CMU is not having a good season, but we'll see what they pull off against Toledo.

RE: CMU trick play
Looks like something a grade school flag football team would try.

I actually had that as a play for my son's grade school flag team this fall... it didn't really work because they couldn't do the fakes well enough, good enough for two yards if we needed it 03-lmfao

Me too, but it was about 15 years ago. The kids LOVED it. Named the play after the school principle, Mr. Whiple.

Worked once for a decent gain, but only once. But because of that one time, the kids wanted to run it e-v-e-r-y play. "Run Mr. Whiple! Run Mr. Whiple!" "Do it again, do it again!"

I'd run it once or twice a game for laughs.

Mr. Whiple actually came to a game to see the play named in his honor. It lost yards, but nobody cared.

Haha! Years ago when I was coaching my cousin's middle school team, they used to spend their lunch hour drawing up over-elaborate, highly ineffective plays. It was great!
