RE: EMU Week
I'll say 27-14 Broncos.

Eastern has the talent to win this game. They will be able to move the ball on us. Mobile quarterback & a decent passing game.
We'll get stopped in the redzone at least a couple times. Game could be won or lost depending on if we decide to kick field goals (& make or miss them) or if we try for the endzone.

Many on here will say the win was ugly, although final score & stats won't show it.

RE: EMU Week
Us going 5-0, finally getting over the hump & escaping NIU & UT while doing so, then having the Ball St game cancelled & seeing them go would be peak 2020

I could very well be wrong on this, but I think the record against divisional opponent would only come in if we had the same record. If we are 5-0 and they are 4-1, I think we go. If we lost to EMU and they beat CMU so that we have equal 4-1 records, I think that is where divisional record comes in. Like I said, I could be wrong.

RE: EMU Week
We are set up perfectly for our yearly Tim Lester skull crushing loss... In a game we SHOULD win we come out flat... turn the ball over too many times and effectively waste a perfect opportunity to carry momentum into the final game... which may get potentially cancelled due to covid... and ultimately sending BSU to the MACC...

Just saying it out loud... so maybe it loses its power and we actually see a WMU team this year start strong and finish stronger...

RE: EMU Week
TBH I’m more worried about us blowing it against ball state especially if they beat central and next weeks game comes down to us having to beat ball state to win the west. Tim has shown that he can’t win that game to get us to the MAC championship.

Will this year finally be that year?

We shall see.......

There's no way BSU would go in that scenario. We would.

With EMU on immediate horizon,
How about saving that comment until next week when WMU might actually be 5-0.

Are we putting out game notes and stuff this week? I've been looking and can't find them.

Thanks! I find it interesting we haven't updated the two deep since Nov 15...

Yeah, it's not very accurate. Kanz isn't playing. Sherwin hasn't. Dalton hasn't. It's hard to tell exactly the two-deep because some 3rds are the guys playing more on special teams, but there's a lot of guys playing regular snaps who aren't on that depth chart! Anthony Torres for one.

And they make a few participation report mistakes every season as well...

The depth chart looks like it was thrown together and hasn't been updated in weeks. Riddled with errors. Very amateurish.

RE: EMU Week
Lester dodged a bullet not having to play ND, Cincinnati, & to a lesser extent Syracuse. We were also scheduled to play Buffalo. Instead of racking up some losses & finishing potentially as bad as 6-6 if not worse, he's padding his win percentage. Worse he could finish now is 4-2. Lot of fans would be pissed if he blows it again this year, but he could become a Frank Solich type coach.
