Looking back at three consecutive game scoring outputs, here are the best I found. If my research is correct, he just had the best three consecutive games since 2001-2002, which were the last records available with game by game stats. Even besting Blizzard the Great by 1 point.

2020-2021

Sims WCU 29, UNCA 24, Troy 27 - total 80

2016 -2017

Ingram - ECU 26, Clemson 20, Towson 22 - total 68
Bryce - Towson 28, NU 23, Delaware 17 - total 68

2015-2016

Flemmings - Drexel 21, JMU 23, CofC 25 - total 69

2014-2015

Spruill - W&M 33, Hofsta 23, Cofc 11 - total 67

2013-2014

Rendleman - Delaware 26, W&M 24, Drexel 24 total 74

2011-2012

Adam Smith - Toledo 27, Ill State 19, Liberty 18 total 64

2010-2011

DeLoach - VCU 20, Georgia St. 23, W&M 28 total 71
Tomko - Towson 31, Drexel 22, Charleston So 21 total 74

2008-2009

Montez Downey - Elon 26, GMU 17, Hofstra 21 total 64

2007-2008

Carter - Hofstra 23, Miss St. 17, Coastal Car 27 total 67

2002-2003

Blizzard - Tex Tech 29, UT San Antonio 19, E. Tenn 21 total 69
Blizzard - Drexel 23, JMU 29, Delaware 21 total 73
Blizzard - VCU 26, W&M 25, Hofstra 28 total 79

2001-2002

Blizzard - Miami(OH) 23, High Point 23, Radford 27 total 73

Someone on this board saw this coming, but I forgot who it was?. Now we need Jaylen to stay grounded. His faith should do that. We have a real winner on our hands on and off the court.

The best part is he did it patiently and efficiently. You can score 80 points in 3 games if you jack up enough shots, but Jaylen Sims' decisions were so smart. He worked to get the shots he seemed to want, and he was rewarded for it. I can't recall one shot where I cringed and thought "he forced it." Drawing fouls and getting opponents into the bonus midway through the half a couple times also was a huge help. Keep up the good work.

Agree 100%, with 12-18 from 3 and 63% from the floor that makes this even more impressive

82- I figured it had some historical significance, I don’t personally remember a stretch like that before. Nice work in the research . Maybe someone that’s better than I on the Twitter machine can tweet at Browning and ask if it’s an all time best?

I will say two things, A, it's nice to be talking UNCW sports again. And B, it's nice to actually see a glimmer of hope on the horizon!

Good showing early is a really good sign.

For this team, and these guys that have experienced a LOT of losses the early confidence hopefully carries over.

ECU game will be a huge test. They have three 7 footers on the roster and just beat Charlotte by 9, who destroyed us last year.

That's going to be a monster. Hopefully Steere will be ready to go. If not, yikes. Either way, it seems the Seahawks will have to really speed them up for 40 full minutes to off set that size matchup. Any info on if their bigs are able to run the floor?

I've heard they aren't mobile, but that ECU can go small and compete. A win over them next week will make me really believe we can be at the top of the CAA. NOt sold yet with just the W's over Asheville and Troy and the beatdown we took from WCU.

Definitely going to be a good test to see how we matchup against a team with size. Steere will have to start, and Gardner for ECU is big for a 4 along with being offensively skilled. It might be a situation where we'll have to go with Steere and Dodd together in some lineups if we can't run their bigs off the court. I wouldn't be against seeing Dodd get the start at the 4 to reward him for his good play against Troy and it being a homecoming game of sorts for him.

Word from Coach during the Talking with Takayo show was that Steere will be ready to go for this game. No word on if he'll start or not, but you'd hope in this case with this type of matchup that he would. I know I've been a vocal critic, but I'm just as excited as everyone else to see what he's got on the court... and hopefully he turns out to be a Seahawk great, even if it's for a shorter period than others.
