"Atlanta Falcons Memorial Gag Award" winners for November 7th games ....
According to ESPN's "win probability" tracker, these teams all blew "seemingly insurmountable 4th quarter leads".

Second runner-up:

Clemson ...... 98.3% chance to win over Notre Dame with 2:10 to go.

Situation: Clemson led 33-26, ND faced 4th and 7 at the Clemson 47 yard line.

First runner-up:

USF ................ 98.4% chance to win over Memphis with 3:25 to go.

Situation: USF led 33-20, Memphis faced 3rd and goal from the USF 9 yard line.

And this weeks "Atlanta Falcolns Memorial Gag Award" Grand Prize Winner is ....

Arizona State ...... 99.9% chance to win over USC with 3:05 to go.

Situation: ASU led 27-14, USC faced 3rd and 13 from the ASU 26 yard line.

Just goes to show what a joke the ESPN "win probability" tracker is. I knew we weren't going to get the first down we needed to ice the game because our offensive line run blocks like 85 year old women, and with an already shorthanded defense gassed ND was going to be able to drive down with the time remaining.

I similarly felt USF was going to collapse vs Memphis in the last 3 minutes. But the tracker is the tracker.

I didn't get to see the Memphis-USF game. But the comeback was a surprise.

Not to me. I hate when my teams are in a situation where they can be beaten by a "score - stop - score" sequence. It always seems to happen to us.

Regarding the Clemson-ND game, it's just another example of teams not being able to play 2-minute defense. It used to be mostly an NFL phenomena but it's becoming more common in college football now.

Notre Dame and Clemson will rematch in the ACC title game.

That is a good result for Divisionless football.

I like this. 10 conference games, no divisions. Games we all care about. Everyone gets 5 conference home games (when Covid-19 winds down in two years and we can all attend) -- I like it in the MWC.

Back to OP, Arizona State was definitely the biggest choke. They had multiple chances to end it and failed again and again.
