Where's Whinny?
What -- nothing to say after the hinny's big win over the East bottom feeder Akron?? Or, can't you type legibly through your mask? (You do know you can't get the covids through the interweb, right?)

That's right. The Rockets are comin'. You better have your oars and pool noodle ready cuz The Boat's goin' down.

Row row row your boat
gently down the stream.
Merrily merrily merrily merrily
winning's just a dream.

RE: Where's Whinny?
Hopefully Whinny is okay, probably spending her time worrying about all the turmoil in Hawkeye program.

And you can send all that Row the Boat stuff to Minnesota.

You'll have to forgive him, Hoople. He's an old fart who has difficulty keeping up with the times. I guess he doesn't know that the dingy has rowed itself to the Twin Cities.

Hey, Rrrrrocket Rrrrrobert - How's life living in the armpit of Ohio? Hope you enjoyed your last game, because your offense will be shut down next Wednesday night. Might as well raise the white flag right now. Stick a fork in it. You're done. 04-rock

Actually, your comments are funnier than you realize. I really can't type legibly - I have long term peripheral neuropathy and loss of balance from having COVID back in March. However, this old nag's tongue is still wicked and my mind is still sharp enough to know that the Rockets have run out of gas. Unlike their fans. 03-lmfao

Sorry you had to deal with the Covid experience and hope you are doing well now. Be safe, Whinny.

RE: Where's Whinny?
Thanks, bostonbronco. Unfortunately, I'm still dealing with the neurological damage caused by COVID 8 months out. I've been told that it may be permanent, or it may take over a year for my nervous system to heal. I've learned that here are thousands of other survivors in the U.S. who are dealing with the same thing. COVID is so much more than a respiratory illness.

Sending you positive vibes... hope those symptoms clear up! What are the lingering symptoms? Covid fog?

RE: Where's Whinny?
In my case it's paresthesia of hands and feet, and loss of balance. The overwhelming fatigue that all long-haulers mention finally started to lift for me in month 6. Many have the brain fog, various neurological disorders, cardiac arrhythmia, gastrointestinal issues, joint pain, and damage to other body systems. For many of us, the long-term symptoms are more severe than our initial COVID infections ever were.
