Quite surprising, since Flint has long been a dem stronghold due to their UAW history. But, I believe this was at an event where Pence was to speak so the crowd was self selected.

A lot has been written about Michigan's shift from blue to purple to red leading up to and including the last election and Whitmer has done nothing to help the dems cause for 2020. As a life long Michigander, Wayne County resident and a salaried employee in the auto industry I can hear with my own ears the enthusiasm for Trump in Metro Detroit. The grip on the UAW the dems once held is all but gone and the skilled trades largely support Trump. Only the teachers union appears to be the last large organized labor force supporting Biden. I can also see with my own eyes the MAGA events and yard signs substantially outpacing the blue team.
