I'm not 100% sure this isn't satire.

Quote:We have made it clear to the supplier that we do not support the use of monkeys for harvesting and that all harvesting must be done by human labor,” Kimble wrote. “In turn, our supplier has contractually required the same of all its suppliers. In addition, our supplier is in the process of visiting every one of its supplier farms to communicate the harvest policies.

Great.

The UE 3 rate for monkeys just went through the roof.

If they can’t work for their food, I guess they’ll have to go on the govt dole, too. Lot of monkeys gonna go hungry from here on out.

What’s the minimum wage for monkeys? Is it different for chimps than gorillas? Somebody get AOC on this pronto!...

Never mind. Chimps and gorillas are apes. They are management I imagine....

No Bananas - No Coconuts
Monkeys strike over poor pay and work conditions

I could see that as a CNN headline.

Does Costco also ensure that their diamonds, gold, bananas, and any product using cobalt are not harvested by forced child labor? Something tells me they don't really care THAT much in those cases.
