At 3pm, my thermostat was set to 68 degrees, I ran the dishwasher, the washer, and dryer.

I would happily do all that if it meant there was no pollution, poverty or crime in my community. But they have more of all those things and a higher cost of living. Please don’t let anyone from Cali run the country.

My allergies are hideous.

Our thermostat stays on 70 during the day and we cut it down to 67 at night. Then again, our goofy county mayor requires us to wear a mask at the store.

I guess if I was younger I'd be setting my thermostat at 70 or so but since I'm 72 and my wife is ill I set it at 78 and since I spend a great deal of time in my foxhole the only thing I need is the fan above me. We have two units at each end and if we have both going it gets pretty cold even at 78 because they're going all the time as it's been very hot here in EP. It's hovering around 95 to 102 so that's why the ACs don't stop. The only time I set it lower at 76 or so is when I'm cleaning house because it does get hot with all the movement. That says that I could be a good Californio if I lived there. Luckily for me I don't, I'm a proud Texan and will stay that way till I die.
