Now, that is stupid. It's a clue to what universities are graduating. Do they think that America was the ONLY country that had a "civil" war. Now countries won't be able to use that term when they fight each other because it's not PC. LOL

RE: Oregon/Oregon St Rivalry To Be Renamed From The Civil War
Instead of all these govt programs, can we just offer people a $100,000 relocation voucher? If you don't love America you can denounce your citizenship and receive $100,000 to assist in your move out of the country.

Caveats- you may never return to US soil, can't own a company that conducts trade with the US and forfeit all claims to any money paid into social security.

I like the "War of Oregon Aggression" or the "War between the State (Oregon)"

I understand they are going to rename it the Congenial gridiron affair. Tight ends and Wide receivers are also being renamed to satisfy the alphabet demographic in Oregon.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it the civil war that brought about the end of slavery in America?

None of this is about the Civil War, nor even about race for that matter.

So is Syria the Russo-Turkish-Iranian-Hezbellah-ISIS-Kurdish-Syrian War?

The war of northern aggression was fought "to preserve the union".
Civil War is a misnomer in that the Constitution did not address a State seceding from the United States.
The States that withdrew from the Union did so after their legislatures voted to do so. Lincoln and the Federal Government usurped the power of the State Governments by forcing them to rejoin the Union by force.
The United States has been on a downward spiral ever since.

No, I haven't.
I've never heard of it, is it relevant to this conversation?

It's about people these people that are trying to pawn a sword that they claim was the sword that Grant surrendered to Lee because, according to them, that the South actually won the war.

It was fairly funny until they got off topic and made it serious/depressing at the end.

Man, you sure are charitable with my tax dollars. You aren't a Democratic congressman are you? LOL

I know Stink would take you up on that deal in a NY minute and he'd leave for Costa like a Roadrunner, beep, beep.

It is the Civil War because that is what the winners of the conflict refer to it has. And it’s sad that you think the country has been going downhill since then since it demonstrably improved since 1865.
