Ah, no it won't help the dems unless you really believe that all the people are totally stupid. The longer they attempt to keep things closed while other states open up, the more people who are feeling great pain and economic loss will realize it is all political and will rise up. When enough folks rise up, the dam will break. The result will be people voting out these tyrants and you'll likely see people voting for Trump who never could have imagined doing so.

When the dam breaks and masses of people just disregard the "orders" it could go one of two ways. The guv doubles down and tries to get the national guard involved (big mistake) or they will realize that the people have the power and back down.

Those counties that choose to defy the order WON'T NEED stimulus money because they will be open for business and regular money will be flowing.

As someone who's living here, up until this point, Wolf has done a good job.

But now he's being selective in the phasing. Most of the counties that are upset about not going to the "yellow" phase are the hot bed areas ie suburbs of Philly. Last week our county went yellow, but surrounding counties stayed red, some have more people and less cases. Restaurants aren't opening except for take out like it's been the entire time.

I think he's being selective. The other thing we're seeing, we have guys drawing unemployment and benefits, making more than they would working 40 hours. How does that happen? We re-opened the industry two weeks ago.

Same with Murphy in NJ. They guy is killing small businesses, many of which are owned by people that voted blue. We are starting to see a walkaway movement around my area.

The more states that begin to open back up and get things rolling along again, the more angry the folks in the locked down states will get. That helps Trump, doesn't hurt him.

To be honest, at least in VA, not much will change between Phase 1 and what we had previously. As of Friday, much of the state begins to reopen. However, it looks like Northern VA will remain locked down for a while longer.
