By the way, this can get lost in the shuffle, but I think it’s important to remember: Jonathan Turley is not now and never has been any kind of a “pro-Trump” or “conservative” or “Republican” pundit. He’s actually left-of-center on pretty much every ideological issue and has been for as long as he has been speaking out in public. It’s just, he has this quaint notion that the law should apply to the people he doesn’t like the same way as it applies to the people he does like.
