EMU is taking full advantage of this situation. They look really good right now.

Hope EMU can sustain it and Pitt doesn’t catch some fire. Gotten some lucky breaks thus far (turnover, missed FG).

However WE will have a winning record this year and have huge advantage over you in all-time series.

Plus we got to go to Dallas for our bowl. You barely left Washtenaw County.

All across the country today people will see EMU as an out of control, undisciplined football program with a losing record.

Unless I missed Bellamy spit on someone and Wassink throw punches at players... no, we didn't look bush league in our loss.

I know CC is a good coach and has made EMU somewhat relevant in the MAC, landing some awesome 6-6 seasons and getting more than the usual few flies in Rynearson's seats these days.

But the trolling here and in other threads is weak sauce. EMU still has 21 losing seasons of the past 24 (including this one) and hasn't won the MAC or a bowl game since Reagan was president. Still a ways to go.

That may be the case. But Pitt has been an undisciplined program as well. One of the guys Glass swung at was ejected himself a month ago during a game.

Either way, if Narduzzi is still coach in 2021/22, Lester may need to just remind the boys not to take their bait if they are more chippy and trash-talky than a typical opponent.

Man, I was rooting for EMU. They played a tough game, but lost their cool. What an embarrassing way for seniors to go out like that.

When was the last time a senior QB was tossed for punching a player... and a referee... in a bowl game?!?

You should own up to the terrible behavior of your team, which because of the bowl season embarrasses not only yourselves, but our state and football conference.

How is that any kind of response to the pathetic display put on by your program? Own it. If you don't like the taste, then change it. Demand better representation for your program and your University.

WMU is not the source of embarrassment for Eastern Michigan football.

Eastern played well. A stop in the last minute would have given them the game. Glass's infraction occurred sometime after Pitt scored; reflection of frustration.

You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Yes, our quarterback lost his cool, but to believe Narduzzi and what he said is pure crap. The Pittsburgh players were trash talking the minute the game started.
I'm really tired of the high and mighty attitude some on this site continually espouse about how great is Western.
Yes, you have a better record than us overall, but bowl wins, and conference championships, you are just one ahead of us, and you have been in the league 25 years longer then us. Get a life.
