A season's worth of smack, right there in front of us.
I mean basketball is a little different....Last year people didn't talk smack all season after Temple lost to an Ivy League school.

Fairness is not the objective here.
But Cincy was picked 3rd among the coaches in this league, which I think is (maybe was) more elite than the MAC.

Cincinnati fans shouldn't beat their chests too hard over that win. If Temple doesn't blow one of the four or five special teams miscues, Temple wins that game.

Hopefully, Memphis is line saying that, like the rest of the AAC, on Friday. lol I don't know how they keep doing it. Ridder needs replaced.

If by 'elite' you mean haven't been to the tournament in over 50 years, then yes.

Fairness is not the objective here.
But Cincy was picked 3rd among the coaches in this league, which I think is (maybe was) more elite than the MAC.
To be clear, the joke was that Bowling Green is not elite in basketball and neither is the MAC. The intent was to use sarcasm to point out how terrible a Cincinnati loss to Bowling Green is. Embarrassing really. But it was probably the refs, right Bearcats?

Missed the joke when you said "in all fairness..."
But yes, wouldn't it be embarrassing if we lost to Cincinnati in BB, who lost to a MAC team? Ugh.

And Kentucky lost at home to Evansville.
I am already over it. Still wouldn't trade places with a Temple basketball fan.

You already did! We nicknamed our previous coach “One and Done-phy” because he could only ever play one tournament game. Just like Cincinnati! Y’all are exactly like us! Well except you lose to MAC basketball teams, ouch.

That reception on the last drive in the 4th Q that put us on the 30 that was overturned by the refs really chaps the butt cheeks of Memphis fans and crawls up the cracks, presumably putting us in FG range to win it. It really didn't bother me.
I got flak on the Memphis board for basically saying, "I agree it was a God-awful overturn from the call on the field. I'd be royally pissed if the game was a clean back-and-forth. But, "MEMPHIS TURNED THE BALL OVER 4 TIMES." One atrocious call by the refs didn't cost us 4 atrocious turnovers. Temple Defense did what they needed to do. We lost that game long before that awful call, and did too little too late to make a comeback.
You're right and wrong. If a team turned the ball over a couple of times it doesn't mean they don't deserve a comeback. Even with 4 turnovers we still had a chance to win. Comebacks are just part of sports. AAC officials are just bad.
