Memphis will definitely get in, they were 26 in AP. I think UCF may sneak in as well at 25, running up the score like that, against temple.

Memphis definitely. UCF and Navy should be high enough in votes where if they take care of business next week they could pop in.

So I'd say 3 possibly 4 this week.

next week 4 possibly 5 (-1 if SMU beets Memphis, I would think SMU would still be ranked if they lost)

Should be 5 ranked teams, SMU, Memphis, Cincinnati, Navy, and UCF.

This is a damn good football conference with a lot of good teams.

The battle for the west crown between Navy, SMU, and Memphis will go down to the wire with several more interesting games remaining.

Agree. There won't be, but should be.

UCF probably needs another 2-3 wins to make it in.

I don't think UCF will be higher than 27th this week.

Having said that, a win next week propels us into the Top 25, imo.

The four teams from the AAC deserving of a ranking are...

SMU, Cincinnati, Memphis, Navy

Likely will have 3 in with Navy being a long shot for 4th in a poll. UCF should be in top 30 as well. If all the right teams win next week, 4 is likely.

While I like their picks, Navy deserves to be above us.

SMU, Memphis, Cincinnati, Navy, and UCF are Top 25 caliber but that does not necessarily mean all five "deserve" to be of "should be" ranked.

But I do feel the league is deserving of three — and if it got four ... that would be very strong.
