I'm going down with the ship.

The ship is NOT going down. There is a lot of football to play.

Since that's the only thing we can control, I hope it's all that the team is focused on. Momentum is a strange and sometimes powerful force. I think this weekend we can start to get some going. I think our team is better than they have played so far this season. Be a good time to peak.

I agree with your comment on momentum. This team clearly plays better at home. With the next two games being at home & being on Saturdays can only bode well for gaining some momentum into the final two games of the season against beatable teams (crosses fingers). We can win all four games, BUT we need to play better in all 3 facets. We have to impose our will on offense and score points--while sustaining drives to wear the opposing defenses down. The quick strikes are nice, but longer drivers keep our team in the drivers seat to win these games.

FYI, only this saturdays game is on saturday, the testicle tech game is a MACTION tuesday night game, thus is why they are holding "Senior day" this saturday as opposed to the home tuesday night finale vs. testicle tech.

Good catch, I missed that. Thx 04-cheers

WMU currently -27.5 in Vegas. It seems a little high, especially considering the poor weather we're supposed to be getting tomorrow. We should get close to covering though.

I can't remember the last time we were favored by so much against an FBS team. 2016 season maybe?

Rain looks like it wont start until after the game, we should be fine. My guess would be 2016 gameday vs Buffalo, I think we were 30+

That's the first game that came to mind for me as well, lol.

Glad to hear that about the rain. I don't want to watch a cold, rainy, miserable mess.

RE: Bowling Green Gamedday Thread
I don't have a prediction but rain could hamper the offense. BG has a freshman QB, both of their RBs are hurt and likely a 3rd stringer starts. EMU was only averaging 19 points per MAC game until they met our D. Tomorrows game is on the defense. They must show up. We can put 40 on BG put the D has too stop a very suspect BG offense. Espo hopefully doesn't have our CBs ten yards off the WRs and make them look like heros.

That is very high for a MAC game, especially considering predicted weather.

To cover we'd have to shut BUGs out or close to it, and our defense doesn't seem good enough to do so.

Just Win, baby!

The guy on the main boards who was laughing at the UT/BGSU spread w/ UT favored by 30 probably laughing again.

Been a problem the last 2 years. I doubt it gets fixed in a week.

Buffalo and Ohio favored over Ball St and Central Michigan. If one gets knocked off, there's still a few weeks for the other one.

RE: Bowling Green Gamedday Thread
Rain could show up in the fourth quarter. It behooves us to have a great defensive bounce-back tomorrow and an offense having fun again, so our 3s and 4s are taking snaps by the time potential weather arrives. We need to build momentum each week, and letting BGSU hang around kills it.[/font]

I hate to be negative Nancy here, but are you really surprised? There is zero excitement left in this program.
