Football Stall??
As crazy as it sounds, and I know I am not alone, going back over the game thread, should WMU had slowed the heck down on the last TD drive? I was hoping Bellamy did not score with close to 2 minutes left in the game, TOO MUCH TIME on the clock. That is the frustrating part, the kick return team does its job, and you just hope the team comes out and gets a sack, which seemed to be the only way to stop EMU's pass attack. I knew as soon as I saw the defensive backs giving up 8 to 10 yards at the line of scrimmage, that EMU was gonna win with a field goal. And yet they got the TD.

RE: Football Stall??
Probably a bit. Looked like we were playing like there were only a few seconds left on the gameclock.

But you're still trying to score so you don't put yourself in a bad situation - i.e. getting sacked yourself and taking penalties that move you back.

The problem is the pass defense was non-existent on EMU's winning drive, as it was all game.

I think EMU only needed like 20-30 seconds to score their touchdown though. They were running clock as they were going too!
