Is this the first Saturday regular season SBC game on a national network since Troy at Arkansas State back in 2017?

I think so. Our last nationally televised (EDIT: normal season) saturday game was Miami iirc

If you mean a game between two SBC teams then it definitely is the first this year. But several SBC teams have hosted Saturday TV games, this year included.

The Sun Belt always used to get an ESPN game during championship week to fill their content. This one feels different since there is a much larger slate of games. Good exposure.

I basically get to wake up and cheer on App first thing in the morning. That's gonna be a good Saturday.

Playing South this year on national television will most certainly expose your strengths and our weaknesses. 03-banghead

I usually watch Gameday, bite my fingers for 3 1/2 hours, and then watch the game. THIS REMOVES THE FINGER BITING

App will have back to back mid-season conference games and 3 out of 4 games being broadcast to a national audience. You can't pay for that kind of exposure. So long as App wins the next 3, it should be incredibly positive. In a way, it should be helpful that this weeks game is a Saturday on ESPN+. Much less pressure to perform.

Shocked and pleasantly surprised ... First time that I can remember executing a 12-day window on a game. The two years that games were picked up on Championship Week were predetermined other than the actual network and time. Shame that it took this long to happen; App-Troy should have been on something last year.

Oh, my. It's an Iggle taunt.

Aint skeered. But, perhaps you should be. LET THE TERROR BEGIN!

Do you recall what happened the last time App played on Halloween? On ESPN? I do.

I usually love my presents for my bday on Halloween. Don’t remember a loss on my bday anytime recently.

Please forgive the 10 year quality.

When looking at the final score, its easy to forget that was FCS #1 vs #2 in the nation at the time.

I think USA will be on national TV 6 times, just wish we were having a good season and at our new stadium. We are having homecoming at 11 am, that will hurt attendance.
