RE: 5 takeaways from win over Miami (Ohio)
Probably the best moment of the day. Didn’t know about it til I read it here. Just when you thought Rasser had it tough

WMU cheerleader Brianne Korteway was recognized as being cancer-free after being diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins lympohoma. Korteway, a junior from Paw Paw, wiped away tears during the announcement and was then swarmed by teammates before returning to the sideline to cheer for the remainder of the game.

"It really meant a lot to have all that support behind me," Korteway said. "Before everything was great. Then, during my journey, I went to every practice and it was hard sitting out, but I had a lot of support from my team and my family and they helped me get through it."

We missed hearing the actual announcement yesterday.

For us the Waldo PA system has been good all year, not yesterday. They even gave head Ref a new mic at one point which didn’t help.

The sound is OK at midfield, but nearly intolerable under the rood of the Seelye Center. There may not be a lot that can be done given the stadium's architecture.

If Boomer won't have better ammo for a long time, they should move her down to a platform cut into the hill, so everyone can see it as well.

They were waiting on a new budget to see if they could get better ammo for Boomer. Some dingus got rid of the surplus they were holding on to at the end of last year, so they had to scramble to find some for this season.

That makes more sense than ammunition is not available.
