Going into the season, predicting 7-5, I wasn't sure if I had this as an L or Eastern Mich. Ultimately I went with Eastern Mich as the L and us scraping by the Redhawks again like last year.

That'd be amazing. We stink too tho, and 3 of those 4 are all at our level.

I think it's going to be a barn-burner. Miami's ticked that they blew it against us in Oxford last year -- and they have more confidence coming into MAC play after their initial SOLID MAC win, with apparently a bye.

Hopefully we should want to make up for the Toledo game. Could go either way, but I lean on us. Certainly not betting on it -- although I think the 13.5 point spread's too high for us.

It's looking like the weather is going to be cool, wet and windy.

Miami has not been good at all this year. They got lucky against Buffalo, as the Bulls shot themselves in the foot all game. UB had 10 penalties to Miami's 2. UB had 4 turnovers to Miami's zero. The Bulls were atrocious on special teams, too. Miami actually got outgained in total yardage 398 to 265.

Miami is averaging 22.8 points and 239 yards per game. Gabbert has 650 passing yards (3 TDs, 2 INTS), leading rusher has 133 yards and 1 score, leading receiver has 126 yards and 1 score.

They had a tough OOC schedule, I'll give them that. But their stats are atrocious.

This is going to be a tough game for the first half... WMU stretches out a lead in the second half.

Defense is going to have to step up and play a full 4 quarters and we need to get our offense back on track... Id like us to get the running game going this weekend...

I think the Miami QB (Gabbert) is the brother of the former star Missouri and NFL QB Blaine Gabbert. Wow! As someone mentioned, Miami’s stats for the year are very so-so. Very low statistical totals for their top QB, RB and WR. Means nothing but I was trying to identify who we need to key on. Must be they spread things out.

Yes, Miami QB Gabbert IS the brother of Blaine Gabbert. Watched him when Miami played Iowa early in the season, and was really impressed with the kid. He can do it all. Gabbert is a real threat, for sure, and the Bronco D needs to key on him.
