Exclamation UCF- An Appreciation
Within the last 3 weeks the American flagship UCF Knights have lost an OOC and conference game for the first time in over 2 years. They have had 2 straight 12-0 seasons, won the American Championship and gone 1-1 against top SEC teams in NY6 bowls. Their campaign to be included in the playoff could not be ignored due to the high level of success and while not getting to the playoff they both elevated the American and pointed out the bias in the system. UCF success has had a deep affect on the American new contract and exposure. The Knights are not dead and will contend for the American title again. Just wanted to acknowledge that UCF has led us to success.

UCF has done more to boost the prestige of this conference than anyone else and it's not even close. They're not going anywhere. Glad to have them as conference mates.

04-cheers hats off to UCF. They’ll reload.

At worst UCF ends the season at 9-3 with a true freshman starting at QB. If that's a "down" year, that goes to show the kind of standard that they have set over the past few years.

UCF- An Appreciation
I was really disappointed this morning to hear the sportscenter babe say "we might not HAVE TO review UCF much longer" in her tease for the UCF Cincy highlights. It was very clear that UCF being ranked and on their win streak forced ESPN to promote them. I would be looking for next to jo coverage for a ranked cincy, and as soon as they tire of talking about SMU being ranked for the first time since the death penalty we wont be hearing about them either.

Meh.

They CONTRIBUTED to the AAC rise. Houston had a big NY6 win while UCF was going 0-12, then was seriously in playoff conversations. Navy was in the Cotton Bowl conversation despite undefeated WMU because of the strength of the conference.

UCF's great two year run built on those other successes, turned it up to eleven. Impressive work, indeed, but we are where we are because of the performance of more than one team.

Don't UCF fans tell us that 100 times a day
It's good they do well, but I'm not telling them that
BTW Temple hammers UCF

Props to UCF. No way Boise is better than our top schools. Quick reminder, EcU was first AAc team ranked when the new Bowl layout was created. We rose to 16 amd the top G5 spot before we lost.

Thx for the praise for UCF. Lots of schools have elevated the profile of this conference. Hopefully Memphis, SMU and Cincy keep winning this season and continue to make noise for the American! 04-cheers
